Recipe: Proso millet vegan cake

In today’s article I will write a recipe for a homemade vegan proso millet cake 🙂


  • 1 cup of proso millet
  • 3 cups of rice milk
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter
  • 2 tbsp soy flour
  • 3-4 tbsp coconut sugar

Rinse proso with hot water. Put 1 cup of proso and two pieces of rice milk into the pot. Add salt. Proso is ready in 12-15 minutes. Add 2 tbsp of vegan butter. In one piece of rice milk, mix 2 tbsp soy flour and 3-4 tbsp coconut (or brown) sugar. Brush the baking mold with oil and sprinkle with flour. The liquid mixture is poured here. We can add a piece of the vanilla pod to add flavour. Put it in the preheated oven (180 degrees) for 20 minutes.
