Recipe: Vegan burger

In today’s article I will write a recipe for a homemade vegan burger and bun 🙂

Ingredients:
Bun:

  • 300 ml milk
  • 100 ml oil
  • 1 yeast
  • 500g flour
  • 1 TBSP sugar
  • 1 TSP salt
  • sesame seeds for sprinkling

Burger:

  • 1 can of white beans
  • 1 can of brown beans
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 TBSP of coriander
  • 1 TBSP red paprika
  • ½ onion
  • 1 garlic glove
  • black pepper
  • salt

Bun:

Put the yeast into 100 ml of lukewarm milk, add sugar and sprinkle with a spoonful of flour. Put it aside for about 20 minutes. In the meantime put into a larger bowl flour, salt and milk when the yeast is ready add it into the mixture and knead the dough with your hands. Let it stand for an hour. Divide the dough into 10-12 equal parts. Make a small loaf and put it on the baking tray. Cover the buns with a kitchen towel and leave them rest for 20 minutes. Pour the buns with oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Patty:

Rinse the beans and let them dry, in the meantime, scrub the carrot. Put the onion, crushed garlic and carrot into the blender. Spread the beans with a fork until the mass is formed. Add chopped carrot with onion and garlic. Season with pepper, salt, paprika and coriander.

From the mass, form the patties of the same size. Approximately 8 to 10 medium lengths will come out of the given quantity. Rest on medium heat for about 3 minutes from each side.
